Yelp!

This post is written by friend of mine, Mike Bishop, who works for Yelp. I loved the idea the minute he pitched it to me - what better way to spread knowledge about Central Farm Markets than by sharing what the patrons have said?Yelp 1“Part of my job, as a Community Manager for Yelp.com, is to be in the know about all the latest and greatest businesses and events in the area. Connecting the Yelp Community with all of those findings comes next!  So it’s probably no surprise that Yelp has been a sponsor for two events at the farmers market in the past year, and when someone mentions fresh produce, the words Central and Farm are at the tip of my tongue.  Why do I love the CFM? Well, Yelp and Central Farm Markets have the same mission at heart: to connect people with awesome local businesses.”-Michael Bishop, MD Burbs Community Manager, YelpYelp 37 Central Farm Market Trends People Are Yelping About!

  1. Open During The Winter: A farmers market open in the winter? Yeah, we’re not pulling your gams or your yams.
